ESP32S3: Debugging USB-Code

I need to dive deeper into the networking/USB stack to check why USB-NCM doesn't want to participate in LWIP bridging (https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/issues/15639). Usually I'd use JTAG-Debugging here, but in this case I can't.

Do I need to resort to printf-debugging or is there another option left? Somewhere in my drawers, I got one of those ESP-PROG boards. Can it be useful here?

Ok, so after reading https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... -jtag.html it looks like I can use the esp-prog instead of the internal jtag after burning the respective efuse.

I’m going to try that.
