I've read some topics on this matter like the followings: Then based on the information @Piyush gave in the 2nd one, I've searched the forum for the following announcement:
I've finally found the announcement topic by Piyush: viewtopic.php?p=112475In case the announcement on forum was missed out, please note that deleting nodes from dashboard is now supported.
The problem is that I couldn't find the mentioned button in ESP Insights dashboard. Neither in dashboard page nor in nodes page. There is not such section Actions column. So now, if you want to remove your unused nodes, just head over to https://dashboard.rainmaker.espressif.com/, and click on the delete button under Actions column on extreme right.
Deleting unused nodes is really needed since we are in a discovery process and figure out things by trial and error at the beginning stage. In my case, I created an example node, but not enabled ESP_INSIGHTS at first. So I enabled it and flashed it onto the device but it still wasn't sending anything to the cloud. So I deleted the flash and reflashed the same firmware. It worked this time. However the node appeared from the first flashing process as an unknown device in the dashboard remained there. Now I appearantly have 2 nodes but in fact, they both are of the same physical device but one is from the first flashing and the latter is from the latest flashing. Here is how it looks in the nodes list page:
The unknown device is just hanging out there and it doesn't exist anymore. So, could someone please point out where the delete button is exactly?
Kind regards
