I'm trying to make a wireless contact mic using ESP32 that can transmit the audio signal from the contact mic back to a computer with preferably minimal latency and decent quality. I was curious to see if anyone here would have any insights on this, particularly on which ESP32 board would be best for this, or even recommendations for contact mics.
Obviously, the audio dev boards are best for a remote microphone, but I don't know if there are other considerations. I know piezo disc sensors need a dedicated preamp so I wonder what the best way to implement that would be.
I'm fairly new to electronics so I'd just like to make sure I'm not doing anything that might ruin the board.
Thanks so much, I appreciate it!
