Hi,
I'm an end-user, not an engineer...
Not sure if this an appropriate place to post this, but here goes.
My home network is monitored by an app called Fing and it's identified a device on the network with the MAC address 10:06:1C:E3:63:34. I believe the first three blocks identify as Espressif Systems (and maybe the ESP32 chipset).
What I'm really struggling with is identifying the manufacturer who's used the chip in their product and the device type so I can sleep soundly without worrying about it.
Hope you guys can help!
Espressif MAC for which device?
Re: Espressif MAC for which device?
It was not; I've moved your question into its own topic.
Unfortunately, there's not much you can do with a MAC by itself. We do not have a record of which MACs end up in which devices. I'd suggest you start turning off devices until the MAC disappears (as in, the device isn't pingable anymore).
