I've been doing a lot of testing with my waveshare p4 board but for the life of me I can't get the h264 encoder to perform fast enough for 30fps at 1080p. I've used both esp video and the esp h264 components and both give me about 25-27 fps on average. I'm currently using an ov5647 camera though MIPI csi. Through my testing I'm positive it's the encoder that is slowing me down. I can't get the encoder to take less than 36-38ms. I'm about to give up and just accept lower fps for the recordings or just a lower resolution.
Has anyone ever gotten true 1080p 30fps on their P4? The docs say it can.

Re: ESP32-P4 H264 encoding speed at 1080p
what's the chip revision you're using? I can't get mine to work above 9 fps.
Even at HD it still drops to 11 fps after one minute or so.
At 1080p it hangs after 60-80 seconds.
