ESP32-P4 Edge AI Example Modification for cat detection

Have a question about ESP32-P4-EYE example for Edge AI.
I am interested in the AI detection functionality and my goal is to modify this example to perform cat detection instead of face and pedestrian detection. Could you please provide some guidance and advice on how I can do this?

Specifically, I would like to know:
* What steps are needed to train and integrate a new model for cat detection?
* What kind of latency can I expect for this new function?

Just curious if you ever made any progress with this, as I'm working on a project to detect and differentiate between two different cats based on color. But I haven't been able to get the P4-EYE to compile. Any resources you can point me to?
