Australian certification for WeMos Elecrow NodeMcu 32s

Postby CGMarsh » Sun Sep 15, 2019 1:40 am

Hi folks. I would like to use the above device commercially in Australia. Has anyone in Australia gone down the certification road? If so, I would like to hear from you. I was told that that this is an Ai Thinker device and that they have the doc's, but I am not so sure. I received a couple of doc's from them but suspect that they would not satisfy ACMA and everyone that knows anything about ACMA, don't try to "play" with them. Thanks Colin.

However it seems there is no concept of modular certification so products have to be tested in their final form.

Hi WiFive. Thanks for the info, I will try to digest it. Does the fact that you know the doc's mean that you have been down this road? Thanks, Colin
