Esp entering boot mode

Postby yogeshwaran774 » Tue Sep 24, 2019 5:15 pm

  1. In my project i am using esp32, it is flashing properly and working fine but sometimes if i switch off and turn it on it is going to boot mode and it is not coming from that even if i switch off and switch on again. if i leave for sometime then switch it on then working properly and in my design enable is pulled up, gpio 0 is not connected to anything and 10uf electrolytic capacitor near to esp32.
  2.
  3. Can some one help to find out how it is going into boot mode randomly?

GPIO0 should be internally pulled up, so leaving the PIN floating usually isn't an issue. However, keep in mind the internal pull-ups are quite weak (45 K Ohms). Is GPIO0 left completely floating or is it connected to something else (e.g. PCB trace)? Does the issue still persist if you externally apply a stronger pull-up to GPIO0?
