ESP32-S2 without crystal?

Hi, can the ESP32-S2 be used without an external 40MHz crystal? I won't be using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, but I will be using USB- does the USB implementation require the external crystal for timing? Are there any other features that require high-precision timing? Can I leave the external crystal out of my design?
