is on that list of Apple, we could help Espressif develop a high-quality, optimized HomeKit implementation for the ESP32. The ESP32 is definitely a very interesting chip for HomeKit! See also

my company is a MFi license member. Can you please give me details about using the ESP32 directly as an HAP client without the need to got over a RaspberryPI bridge?
It sounds like Expressif announced this feature some time ago.

I think HomeKit has been opened at least a bit recently for non commercial use...
