On my ESP32 I get only this if I connect pin23 to 3v

rst:0x10 (RTCWDT_RTC_RESET),boot:0x33 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT)
flash read err, 1000
ets_main.c 371

and hitting enter does nothing.
my esp32 looks like this one:

Sorry, this topic is from 2015... in the mean time, we found an issue where the ESP32 sometimes accidentally boots into the BASIC interpreter and hangs there, so we had to disable it. Most recent ESP32s can't boot into BASIC anymore.
