I don't know, I only reported a commit in which it did and did not work. My understanding is that the fixes are in a closed source binary blob but I do not know its location or portability between esp-idf versions.
Ok. So, Would you please send information of ESP32 IDF on which it will work and on which it will not work? or you just have only that commit ID?
ESP32 Developers might provide more details regarding same.

It is in post #1 and the post you quoted recently. I have not recorded any other info except that.

Hi,
I have checked same issue into latest master branch which I have mentioned earlier with STA connection example. I have tested with our router and mobile hot-spot on ESP32 Development Board and not able to reproduce issue.
Means, Device is able to connect with configured router or hot-spot immediately or with few retries.
So, You can verify same issue into master branch and let us know results for same.

Hi ESP32 SDK Developer,
We are using ESP32 IDF 2.1 Stable Release and STA Disconnection issue has been fixed into ESP32 IDF 3.1 Stable Release.
So, I have checked fixes with details and found that issue has been fixed into ESP32 Core Library. I have tried to back port into ESP32 IDF 2.1 which we are using but didn't get any success.
Anyone has any idea like is there any application level suggestions to fix temporary solution for that issue because we have already launched demo into market and about to launch product as soon as possible.
So, it is really hard for us to port our existing application into ESP32 IDF 3.1 Stable Release.
Please help us to resolve that issue into ESP32 IDF 2.1 which will be really appreciated. Hope to get something from ESP32 SDK Developer.
