Over the past couple of days we have been trying to figure out how to use the arduino 2.x debugger with the ESP32-C3 with no luck.
From what we were reading there are 2 options available for use with the C3
1. Using D+/D- with a usb cable
2. Using the pins associated with an external JTAG probe.
We went with option 1 since that was the easiest choice. But had no luck. Looking at other guides it looked like when we connected to those pins it should show up windows device manager as USB JTAG but it doesn't shows as Unknown Device(..in compliance mode).
Not sure how to get the driver or even where to get it. Not sure where to go from here.
I am using the latest version of ESP32 for windows - I am on a Windows10x64 machine.
Any help would be appreciated.
Note: I have a few things coming next week, EPS-Prog board and a Segger J-link edu mini.
