Hi,
I'm quite new in ESP world. Good general IT knowledge, but not a developer (more infra guy).
The goal is to program an ESP32-H2 as a 2 gang toggle switch.
I had a look at the examples in the ESP-IDF and the Arduino IDE documentation but I can't find what I'm looking for.
What I find so far is button coordinator or light end point. I need a button end point.
I find a post explaining that I "just" need to invert the initialization part of both code to end up with button end point. I tried that in Arduino IDE and it compiles without error. The "problem" now is that when I link my new device in HomeAssistant, it doesn't populate the button. Only the device's status. I must be close to a solution but I'm stuck.
I don't mind going back to ESP-IDF if I can get help.
Does anyone of you have an idea how I could achieve this ? In my mind, it should be too complicated but I lack the needed skills.
Thanks in advance.
