Hi, I was looking to reuse the LVGL music demo, provided through ESP-IDF & sdkconfig found here -

managed_components\lvgl__lvgl\demos\music

When I try to do this for my ESP32-S3 -

esp32_lcd(HEAD:#509C) - GitHub

I get the following error -


Error: app partition is too small for binary lvgl_porting.bin size 0x1fef10:

  - Part 'factory' 0/0 @ 0x10000 size 0x177000 (overflow 0x87f10)

What's the issue here, how do I debug this? This is sticky! Interested in your feedback

Hello. Thanks for noticing this! Apparently the example size grew by changes in not so related code, making the offsets and sizes in the examples partition table wrong.

Could you please link the example in the ESP-IDF which are you using? Or is it in another repository?

You will need to modify partition table .csv file and make "size" field for "factory" partition larger.
