Cover off of PIR?

Good evening. Has anyone taken the cover off of the AM312 or HC-SR501 PIRs? I would like to use the DSC 4904 housing for my PIR project. The 4904 only operates at 433Mhz and I would like to have my motion sensors would on WiFi with ESP32. The housing looks plenty big....
