I´m looking for the maximum data rate available for esp-now communications.
I´ve already looked at this post:

As it is quite old, are there faster options than 150 Mbit/s right now?

The default rate for ESP-NOW is 1Mbps, but this may be changed with esp_now_set_peer_rate_config().


And it probably depends on the performance of your WiFi router.

Starting with ESPNOW v2.0, the maximum packet length is now 1470 bytes.
The communication speed depends heavily on the packet size.

My router only supports HT20.
Reception speed when sending packets of 1470 bytes 100 times
Wifi Channel = 1 7000 Bytes/Sec (54.4M Bits/Sec).
Wifi Channel = 5 9480 Bytes/Sec (74.1M Bits/Sec).
Wifi Channel = 9 9860 Bytes/Sec (77.0M Bits/Sec).
Wifi Channel = 13 9070 Bytes/Sec (70.9M Bits/Sec).

So the maximum data rate would be 150 MBit/s if I read the header File correctly?

If your router supports HT40, you should be able to achieve around 150MBit/Sec using an uncongested channel.

Are there any Espressif SoCs with a higher maximum data rate?
