Looking for an ESP32 S3 just with more pins...

So since there are a plethora of ESP32 boards :o it's better if I ask.

I started developing a project with the XIAO ESP32S3: https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/xiao_esp32 ... g_started/

One thing I do know for a fact that this board is rock solid I running a stress test for my code on it since many months now.

Sadly I going to need more pins for my project so I have to chose another board in place.

One main criteria is the possibility of external WIFI antenna and USB-C. Also I want the board to be dual core so a core can do the wifi stuff and the other the code dedicated, I don't really want to downgrade to some older/worst version.

I found some boards like this: IoTCrazy ESP32-WROOM-32U Board for ESP32 Development with 3dBi 2.4GHz Antenna, Micro USB, WiFi+BT Development Module, Dual-Core Processing for IoT Projects (DevKitC) looks way out of date

ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1 v1.0 -> no external wifi antenna

So what would you recommend as a replacement? Thanks!

There is a plethora of ESP32-S3 boards that are essentially DevKit-C clones, but that come out to 44-pin DIP packages. A year ago, they were about $4.10USD and now they're more because, well, because.

I inventory the N8R16 models.

Without vouching for these products, but confirming that those pictures are approximately what I use, they're something like:

It's worth mentioning that these are fairly chunky. They don't fit well on small breadboards (use two and straddle them) and finding breakout boards with all the pins can be a bit of a challenge. This is pretty close to the ones (plural) I use.
