Can you help with new research on secure boot?

I am a cyber security researcher at the University of Bristol in the UK.
I would like to your views on Secure boot.

My area of interest is developed centred security, specifically in the issues that developers face when trying to build secure IoT devices.

If you have ever looked at implementing secure boot, or used it in your current development, or maybe think it to complicated, then I would really like to hear from you.
