We’re excited to announce the launch of the Espressif Documentation MCP Server — a new way to bring official Espressif documentation directly into your development workflow.
Last year, we launched the Espressif Documentation AI Assistant, giving users a way to ask questions and get answers grounded in official documentation. Today, we went a step further.
With the MCP Server, AI agents in Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, and other MCP-compatible tools can now query Espressif’s official documentation autonomously — while writing code, debugging errors, reviewing APIs, or migrating across ESP-IDF versions. No tab switching. No copy-pasting. The agent looks it up and acts on it.
Get started: Open the Espressif Documentation AI assistant and click “MCP Server” to install in your editor. See the demo below:
