ESP32-P4 with fixed VDD-HP?

Hello,
I am doing a PCB design where I'll have a FPGA doing a lot of real time compute and an ESP32-P4 as my applications processor and for interfaces. As such I already have a very powerful PMIC for my FPGA. However the P4 seems to need this dynamic voltage scaling via the DCDC FB pin. Also it requires using one of only a few DCDC converters. Would it be possible to use it at a fixed core voltage of 1.2V for example with a non approved DCDC converter such as my existing PMIC from one of the still unused channels? This would save me a lot of added complexity. Power draw in not an issue for me as the whole board already is well above 10w power draw. Has anyone tried this already maybe?
