Device can't be used as trigger in routine creation in Alexa app

Hello

I run Rainmaker temperature example on ESP 32 dev board and it appears in the Alexa app as a new device. As a sensor device I expect to be able to use it in the routines. So I try to create a routine but cannot see the device in "When this happens" --> Smart Home section of the app. Could you please guide if this option available and how can be enabled? Very critical feature for us. Thanks in advance.
