Are ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N8 and N8R2 interchangeable ?

Im developing a prototype based on ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N8 module using ESP-IDF 4.4
During production, if becoming out of stock, can the N8 modules be replaced with the N8R2 variation directly without any changes to the software side (I dont need to use PSRAM)

Yes, if you do not use PSRAM, these two modules could be interchangeable.
