For my project, I'll be using a development board and would like for it to be in a compact case. I was originally planning on using a standard ESP32 development board but saw some smaller versions like this ESP32-C3

Would this work as a replacement for the normal ESP32 board or should I be looking for an alternative? Performance isn't important as it's a simple project.

Re: ESP32-C3 Size Impact
This fully depends on what peripherals and how many IO pins you need. The -C3 also does not support external PSRAM.Would this work as a replacement for the normal ESP32 board or should I be looking for an alternative?
