With ESP32-C3, how many other BLE devices (5.x) can be paired simultanuesly?

Hi there,
I searched the documents and couldn't find what I'm looking for.

It's an BLE lock and key(s) project. I want to pair a number of keys via BLE 5.x to one single Bluetooth lock. The keys could be any thinkable BLE Devices... ESP32-C3, Smartphones... that send a "open" or "close" information to the lock.

I now would like to know the limit of simultaneous paired devices to the USP32-C3.

Where can I find this in the documentation, or does someone of you guys probably know that?
