Help with multiple idf versions in vscode please

I used to be able to click on the "ESP-IDF vxxx" icon on tool bar at bottom of screen and then I could select from a list of all installed esp-idf versions.

Now, I only see the last installed verion. When I browse on my Windows machine to where the other version was installed, it is there and even if I select that location and try to configure again, it then downloads the entire esp-idf framework components. And now that version is the only one I can select.

You can test these changes by installing this esp-idf-extension.vsix.zip

click menu View -> Command Palette...,
type Install from VSIX and then
select downloaded esp-idf-extension.vsix file to install the extension.
