Addressible LEDs in ESP32-S3-Korvo-1

Postby upalik » Sun May 04, 2025 5:24 pm

Hi,

Could someone please let me know how to access the addressible LED set in ESP32-S3-Korvo-1?

In the documentation it only says that they are WS2812C compatible, (So I think they can be adressed with NeoLED library) but it does not say which output pin they are mapped to or how to address them at all. To make the matter even more complicated, the sub board schematic https://dl.espressif.com/dl/schematics/ ... 00316A.pdf says that they are addressible via either driver or WS2812C, and the "driver" option seems to map them to separate RGB outputs.

Is there any technical documentation on the software side of the LED strip anywhere? I checked all the provided examples which don't have anything related to LEDs.

The default firmware has several LED functions, is source code available somewhere for the defaul firmwhere so I can lave a look at the code as a last resort?

Thanks in advance.

Hm, weird that the schematic has both options; normally one of them is NC. Can you see if the LED driver chip is installed on your board?
