Using Eclipse hotkeys in Espressif IDE

Hi, in Eclipse I have loved the traditional hotkeys and I use them a lot. Here are two of my favorites -

Hotkey Examples:

• Ctrl+'/' to toggle a comment in the C/C++ editor
• F11 to launch a Debug session

I see these options setup as expected in Preferences-> General -> Keys. I also, ALMOST, can get Toggle Comments working -

Toggle Comments:

• Ctrl + '/' (doesn't work)
• Ctrl + '7' (works!)
• Ctrl + Shift + 'C' (works!)

Open Questions:

• How can we get Ctrl + '/' here to work for toggling comments?
• How can we get F11 to launch a Debug session?

Are these hotkeys possible with Espressif IDE?

Eclipse sometimes has issues with different keyboard layouts.If you’re using a non-US keyboard, Eclipse might not recognize / properly.
Try switching your keyboard layout to English (US) and test again.

1. Go Window -> Preferences -> General -> Keys
2. type Comment in the search bar.
3. Find Toggle Line Comment, Ctrl+7
4. Copy that Command
5. In the new command add Ctrl+/ and press Apply
6. If you have numpad - copy again and add Ctrl+Numpad_Divide shortcut and press Apply
