ESP32-S3-BOX-3 not working

Hi,
I used my new ESP32-S3-BOX-3 a few times since I bought it last October. The screen has since stopped working for no reason. When I connect the device to my PC it does recognise a linux system, but I guess the screen is just dead. The screen also seems to be slightly coming off from where it is mounted to the device, again for no reason except I guess maybe the glue separated by itself.
Is there any possible solution short of buying a completely new device?

Check the FPC/FFC cable or board-to-board plug

If it’s a ribbon cable: make sure the flip-latch is fully down and the cable is pushed in straight.

If it’s a little board stacked connector: gently press the two halves together.

I checked the ribbon cable and it seemed connected and none of the components look burned out.
Anyway, I decided to reinstall the home assistant voice assistant on the device. Turns out it seems to have been some problem with that, because the device now correctly turns the screen on. It is currently a white screen only, but that is more of a home assistant configuration issue haha.
Anyway, thank you very much for your help.

It’s such a relief when the issue ends up being software-related instead of something physically broken. Reinstalling the voice assistant was a smart move, funny how that can sometimes solve things completely. The white screen sounds like you're almost there, probably just a quick config fix in Home Assistant.

Where can I download binary file: ESP-BOX-3_Demo_V1.2.4 - a original firmware for the box 3 (I think 1.2.4 is the last version, but I might be wrong)?
Is this the same as esp-box/examples/factory_demo ? If it is, which ESP-IDF version I should use? I was trying with several, but I was not able to build it (tried 5.4.3 and 6.0.1 release versions).

I got this in the mean time. Pulled 5.1 and then pulled g22cfbf30c3 form github. Ended up with idf.py version: ESP-IDF v5.2-dev-1912-g22cfbf30c3 , which successfully built factory_demo project for the box. Thanks
