How to setup connect MQTT over wss with CA signed server certificate

I’m using the ESP32-C3 with ESP-IDF v5.4 in my application.
I want to set up the MQTT configuration to connect via WSS using a CA-signed server certificate, meaning I don’t want to define a CA file on the device.
How should I configure this?

I want to set up the MQTT configuration to connect via WSS using a CA-signed server certificate, meaning I don’t want to define a CA file on the device.

As far as I know, a CA file is required on the device side.

When I use the MQTTX app to test my server and set up TLS/SSL in CA-signed server certificate mode without adding any certificate files, the app can still connect. Is it possible to do the same with the device?
