ESP server not working on Google 9

HEY folks, so old Samsung phone, no problem, Iphone no problem but my google phone just refuses to connect! Basically times out despite wifi connecting..>

Can anyone help with where I should start looking please?

Using the following libraries

Tried restarting phone, clearing cache and data with no change! Wifi is 192.168.4.1

Used both google and firefox browsers, the only difference is the older samsung phone will not ahve been updated in a long time, as it is not used for internet.

Any idea on how to troubleshoot would be welcome.

The esp32 network does not have internet access. Many systems will refuse to connect to networks without internet. Go into WiFi settings, saved networks and forget the esp32 network. Connect once again, and it should pop up a notice that the network has no internet access. Make sure to choose the option to stay connected.
