ESP32 Nimble passkey feature issue

For my ESP32-mini-1 and esp-idf-v4.3.2 version, I am not able to turn on the password feature.
I have followed below instruction as mentioned in below link

But the connection is happening without entering passkey.
The connection is established but when we try to send a data to characteristics it fails.
I am using nRF connect application in mobile to do the testing. I am not getting any option to enter the passord.

I want to know if for my express idf version 4.3.2 this feature is valid to use.
In case it is valid one for my version can some suggest what else changes may be required apart from the instruction mentioned in

I would check and confirm the io capability being set. If it is being set to NoInputNoOutput, then pairing will not use passkey entry mechanism.
