How to update the firmware of ESP32C6 on ESP32P4 Function EV Board

Hi All, I bought a ESP32P4 Function EV Board.
Since ESP32P4 doesn't have WiFi and BLE functionality, it has an ESP32C6 controller to handle WiFi and BLE operations. While working on some software, in logs I found that the software version on ESP32C6 is quite old and it can cause some issues in long run.
Where I can get the latest stable firmware and how to program it?
Is it possible to program without ESP PROG, I know there is a connector for programming using ESP PROG, but I don't have this programmer as of now, is there some other way to update the firmware. Thanks

I have a ESP32P4-WIFI6 board and I haven't been able to get the wifi module working. Do you have any examples somewhere that I could reference?

Arduino is still a bit rough, but it has a basic hal for esp-hosted. The slave firmwares for c5 and c6 are included (in tools/esp32-arduino-libs/hosted). There is an example and full library coming soon.
