Zigbee with ESP32-S3 & ESP32-C6

Hello,

I understand that for Zigbee, we need Wifi 802.15.4.

I would combine my ESP32-S3 with an ESP32-C6.

However, the documentation only ever mentions the ESP32-H2 for Zigbee. But this modul is not yet available.

Can use the C6 instead of the H2?

I agree. As an OEM designer of widgets, the reviews are very expensive.

Is this not an official support forum by Espressif? If it is then this is a lost cause. Been waiting weeks for a reply and the development team are in hiding or on never ending vacations. Trying to remain professional but the support is horrible. What if we have a serious s/w and/or hardware issue? Unfortunately seen this far too many times and including from our competition. Made us millions to NOT be like them on support.

Fyi, at the time of writing, this is not an official support forum but rather a community forum where Espressif engineers also hang out. If you are trying to build a product and have an issue requiring Espressif support, emailing sales@espressif.com would be the official way to get help.

Thanks so much for the clarification. Honestly did not know this till now.

On this note, we purchased the kits from Waveshare (China) and raised a ticket this morning on the same case. They replied within an hour (!!!!) of the requested information.

Summary: We are on the right track and issue is linked to the convoluted MENUCONFIG options that have parameters only twins can understand and they suspect the parameters for the ESP32-C5 are not yet stable like the ESP32-S3 target.

Now have sent this entire mess over to Espressif for assistance.
