Sony IMX cams for P4

I got an ESP32-P4-WIFI6 from Waveshare. Basically it works great. I wanted to attach my Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 sensor to it. It is a Sony IMX708 sensor. However, I noticed that IMX sensors are not available in P4. This is very disappointing.
Are there any plans to support them in the future?

Did you have any luck? I have the frames coming but the image looks like it's garbled with vertical stripes.
