[resolved] ESP32-WROVER not recommended for new design?

Can someone at Espressif comment on why this is listed as not recommended? Thanks.

Don't quote me on that, but I think it has been superseded by the ESP32-WROVER-B.

And ESP32-WROVER-B has been superseded by the ESP32-WROVER-E. So it looks like no new 1.8v wrovers.
