dual band wifi module no?

First post here.
It appears there are now dual band wifi module avaliable? Am wanting to make up a simple wifi repeater for wifi 5.8ghz for a drone project and has to be 5.8ghz.
Are there any sort of hacks to make 5.8ghz wifi work with espressif module?
