Hi Seon

my V4 is silked on top with FSD0 FSD1 FSD2 FSD3 FCLK FCS
the V3 is silked and tracert on this pinheader other PINS like IO21 IO22 and so on ( see pic )
( edit: V3 is silked on the bottom side)

will try to check asap your pins comparing with my setup ..
Hey rudi,

My board is the V4 in the docs - the one with the CP2102, not the newer CP2102N v4.1 board. That seems to be the only difference.

I didn't even know there were previous board versions, lol. @Matty "lent" me this board... and he is NEVER getting it back ;)

Though I might put an axe through it soon!!!!!!! PSRAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM!!M!M!M!M!MM!

Cheers,

Seon

you use V4 with CP2102, on bottom there stands "ESP32-PICO-KIT_V4" and the silk is on Top with "SD0, SD1, SD2, SD3, CLK, CS" without the "F" before?

can you please check the bottom side your used Pico-Kit Board which Board Version is silked?

I have too the V4 with CP2102, but silked is the board on Top with "F" on Start at the Flash Pins

but i have not the V4_1 like you talk with CP2102N
btw hope this is the only "change" on the Pico Board "V4_1"

best wishes

Seon, can you please check the Pico Kit Board how the pins was routed with esptools summary ?

like this

it is important, so you can see how the FLASH DATA Pins are routed.

can you post the outgoing message for this here like a "screen print"

likewise

thank you Seon
LoL ...
how can this happended.
same Version - two difference silks
i see, the your V4 bootom side talks from F_SD0 ... ( my V4 talks same but on the Top )
and your V4 Top talks from SD0 ... ( my V4 talks nothing silked on the Bottom or only SD.. )
this helps here in this steps
let us "think" the V4 is only in this "silking" different and the route is the same
but please double check this on your V4 version :)
run espefuses summary on your board...

best wishes

note and double check :

SD0 -> SIO1
SD1 -> SIO0
SD2 -> SIO3
SD3 -> SIO2

( edit for better seeing just added psram pin numbers and IO Numbers from Pico-D4-Pinheader Name: )

(F_)SD0 [IO17] -> SIO1 [PIN2]
(F_)SD1 [IO8]-> SIO0 [PIN5]
(F_)SD2 [IO11]-> SIO3 [PIN7]
(F_)SD3 [IO7]-> SIO2 [PIN3]
