Scan MAC address in a local network

Hi,

I am developing an application using ESP32 and Raspberry Pi. My ESP32 will publish a message to my Raspberry, but it needs to know the IP of the Raspberry in the local network. Is there any way to scan a specific MAC address in the local network using ESP32 then get the Raspberry IP when it connected to a Wifi?

Use mdns on both devices.
