ESP32 PICO KIT and Arduino IDE Getting Started

This is my first post on this forum. I am reasonably familiar with Arduino IDE and installing packages via File > Preferences etc and installing libraries for Arduino. But I meet a blank when it comes to adding ESP32. I have installed .....https://dl.espressif.com/dl/package_esp32_index.json ..... in preferences and also a zip library audio tools from .... https://github.com/pschatzmann/arduino-audio-tools.... The example shetches do not compile and give alot of errors .... mostly cannot find header files etc.
I have a dfrobot Firebeetle and I used ......https://git.oschina.net/dfrobot/FireBee ... index.json .... for simple programs and it worked for simple progs. I have now got a ESP32 PICO KIT and I was wanting to try Audio on it.... to start with just a simple WAV or MP3 player but cannot get any to compile.
Is there a knowledge base etc where I can read up on all the functions and commands etc and how to setup......
