ESP-WROOM-02 AT Commands - AT+CIPRECVMODE Supported?

I have a ESP-WROOM-02 that does not want to accept AT+CIPRECVMODE as either a query or set command. All I get is ERROR.

Details on the board:

The Release Notes for 2.1 do not mention that this was added for either 2.0 or 2.1. Is this supported?

I would like to set it up so I do not have to poll the pin from the WROOM, so unfortunately this is stopping me.

Oh my goodness, you're actually trying to use AT firmware from 8 years ago?!

I strongly recommend upgrading to the latest v2.2.2.0 firmware for a much smoother and more reliable experience. Trust me, it'll be a game changer!
