Hello!
I have made a custom board using an ESP32-S3 for a school project. I have created the functionality to use both a battery and a USB port to power the ESP (the schematic is below). So far, I have been testing with the USB port, however, I am not able to recognize my ESP32-S3 in my device manager (nothing shows up). I have power (I have power LEDs), however, I don't see anything really on the data lines for the USB port. The USB cable I am using works with all other devices I have plugged into it.
Can someone help me identify the issue?
Thanks!
The schematic is attached as a pdf.
Please let me know what might seem off with my current circuit.
Best,
Avery

Re: Custom ESP32-S3 Board USB Not Working
You missed the included circuit. It slows the boot down a bit until your EN pin voltage stabilizes.
You should also put ESDs on the USB pins to prevent damage to your computer (or the ESP32, but that's only $2).
