Support for Offline Time Series

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a low-power device that remains offline for extended periods.
It's designed to connect ~once per day to synchronize data. I have a couple of questions:

1. Does esp-rainmaker support storing time-series data while the device is offline and then syncing it with the cloud upon connection?
from my small research seems it doesn't, but I was hoping I'm missing something ?

2. I've noticed that the "Time Series" tab in the RainMaker dashboard is greyed out for my account,
and I couldn't find this feature in the RainMaker app.
Besides using the REST API to fetch the data, is there another way to view time-series data within the platform?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Time series data for admin users to be viewed from dashboard is currently available only on private RainMaker deployments. You can see the same on the phone app though. Just click on the param under the device details screen to see the graphs.

By default, we do not store the data anywhere if the node is offline. However you can have a look at the code here for a sample.

Look out for energy_ts_task. It is a task for periodically capturing and reporting energy readings. If MQTT is connected, it checks if any older readings are to be sent first and then sends them along with the latest one. If MQTT is disconnected, it just stores the readings in NVS.
