algo_stream AEC with es8374 codec

Hi,

we are tring to perform, without success, AEC by algo_stream (IDF v5.2.3 and ADF v2.7) on a board based on ESP32-S3 and codec ES8374.
If we run algorithm example on this board, the echo is not cancelled and it is present on the resulting wav file; even if we try to adjust the delay.
Is it possible to perform AEC with this devices and software combination?
Does AEC algorithm requires specific settings (such as: play/rec gain or volume)?
