Capacitive touch on pulled high wire

i am designing a game board that needs 20 buttons and 20 presence sensors. Each board space will get 5v for lighting up a couple of LEDs when a piece is placed on the spot. The working idea is to use a reed switch to close a circuit on the board and route the 5v supply through an ADG732B5UZ multiplexer then a logic shifter to the ESP's GPIO. Can I use that same wire as a capacitive touch button whether it's high or low? Will the multiplexer create any challenges?
