Multiple Antennas for ESP32-C6

Hi,

I am to develop wifi based location by csi per AoA method. It need multiple antenna's csi. How many antennas is on ESP32-C6-DevKitM-1 and do these antennas positioning for wifi AoA requirements (6.25cm for 2.4GHz's half wave-length)?

if not, how to connect external antenna matrix to the board? it's said ESP32-C6-MINI-1U support connecting external antennas. Is there recommended external antenna matrix for the module?

Hi,

The ESP32-C6 supports multiple antennas (antenna diversity) with an RF switch, like in the ESP32-WROOM-DA.

I'm afraid you will need to create a custom board or module with the RF switch.

Please note that the ESP32-WROOM-DA is EOL.
