How to improve mp3 audio quality of music?

I am using ESP-BOX Mp3_play sample and have changed it to my board's requirements. I am able to play the tone through I2S. But the audio quality is very poor. There is so much unnecessary noise on the board when playing the music.

My questions.
How can I improve the quality of the sound? I have seen some examples but there is no definitive answer.
The playback speed is lower than the song length itself. How can I play the song in sync?

So, I got where the issue was. I needed to set right parameters in I2S driver code.
